If you haven’t visited the Finger Lakes Welcome Center in Geneva, you may not know that they bring a little bit of vineyard life right into town.

Grapevines grow along the grounds, giving visitors an up-close view as the fruit changes and ripens throughout the season. I love watching those clusters mature—deep blues and purples tucked among sun-dappled green leaves, with the occasional beetle apparently enjoying the view as much as I am.
