I took off in my car, determined to find beauty in deep winter. That's not difficult for most people, but as a landscape and floral artist, I thrive on lush, green fields. Grey, browns, light blues, and more gray don't thrill me...until I came across this serene homestead. It was tucked away in a copse of trees, and the fields, the trees, and the buildings pulled me in, and I knew I was falling in love with winter.
